2019 IVC: Road to Epe is inevitable

by Abideen MuhammedMuslim Students’ Society of Nigeria, Lagos state area unit under the leadership of Dr. Saheed Ashafa has set for another 2019 maiden edition of Islamic Vacation Course at Noforija, Epe between December 22 – 27, 2018 for the first phase while December 27, 2018 – January 1, 2019 for the second phase.This year’s 106th edition is tagged: UNDER THE SHADE OF SUNNAH to mainly focus on Islamic teaching and societal reformation. The theme of this year’s IVC followed the previous theme: Under shade of Quran. It was learnt that all plans have been structured so as to have a hitch free camp and a memorable one.According to the report gathered, over 1500 delegates have arrived camp for this year’s IVC. Today’s evening session will be anchored by Ustadh A’Ganiy Jumah Adele with the topic: “The principle and practice of prophetic medicine.”Delegates who are sound in Arabic or can communicate in it are catered for in another class called Arabic Village. The idea which came into reality about three years ago was to showcase the beauty of the language of the Quran – Arabic.The 6 – Day camping will enable the participants to network within themselves and connect with others. Those in the senior categories will be mentored so as to prepare them for the journey ahead. It is an avenue for everybody to learn Islam rightly.Personalities expected in the first phase of the camp include but not limited to: Ustadh Imran Rufai, Ustadh Sami Zikirullah, Engineer Fahid and crew
