National Youth Wing of Al-Fathu-L-Qareeb Muslim Organisation of Nigeria has announced her plans on orienting youths on administrative focus in order to be able to face the challenges of leadership and followership in Nigeria.
The Amir of the association, Abdul Salam Bamigbaye stated that the orientation will be ongoing in a nine days camping programme of the organisation which will hold between 24th December 2017 and 1st January 2018 at Command Secondary School, Apata, Ibadan, Oyo State. The registration is just 3,500 naira only.
According to the Amir, “The Principal” was chosen as the theme of this year camping programme because there is need for the right thinkers, right leaders and the right followers to paddle the canoe of Nigeria and the society at large.
Abdul Salam Bamigbaye further explained that the major challenges of every society lie on the orientation given to the leadership and followership of such society, hence it is incumbent on Muslims to set pace for the world to follow.
The Amir further affirmed that during the programme, other managerial sections on writing of letters to dignitaries in Nigeria, organizing and setting agenda for meetings in a professional way, office and portfolio management and anchoring programmes in a successful way will feature. Also, economic empowerment section which will focuses on battling with the recent recession in Nigeria will not be left out.
While explaining the aims and objectives of this year camping programme, Abdul Salam Bamigbaye stated that the camp is intended to re-introduce and imbibe the cultural and social norms in members of the society, to prepare a blue-print and serene environment for the young ones and to imbibe in members leadership skills and its philosophy in order to enable them foster in the world among others.
